Philips ReAura

I’ve finally got my hands on the Philips ReAura! A lot of you have been asking about this…

Discover the benefits of professional laser treatments at home with this revolutionary anti-ageing programme. Developed with the makers of Fraxel® laser technology, Philips RéAura encourages a visible improvement in your skin’s appearance, reducing fine lines, while helping to restore skin tone, texture and radiance; it also promotes a visible reduction in age and sun spots.

Simultaneously targeting multiple signs of ageing on the face (forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth) and body (neck, chest, arms and hands), RéAura boosts the skin’s own collagen production, resulting in a refined complexion and youthful contours.

So I’ve tried this out once so far… Here are my initial thoughts:

  • Set up was really easy, it’s more or less plug-and-play. I switched it on, charged and set it to the lowest setting for my first go. Cover your face with the included gel and simply pass the wand over your skin.
  • If you shave, this is fine to use around 12 hours afterwards. For example, if I shave in the morning then I’m fine to use it at night with no issues.
  • Pain level was low, just a very light snap – like an elastic band. You can’t really feel anything after a while, just takes the initial 60 seconds to get used to the sensation.
  • Redness. This will leave your face red after use. I have a medium/deep tan and it left my face looking quite ruddy post use. My skin was fine by morning but just as a warning, you shouldn’t plan to do anything else on the nights you plan to use the ReAura.

So what were the results like?

Well, after two uses, my skin definitely looks healthier. In addition, and i’m not sure this is one of the promised features, it seems to be getting rid of some stubborn blackheads too. Post use your skin just looks healthy and glows. I’ll keep you posted on fine lines/pigmentation but no change yet.

NB: Sponsored Post (but I’m allowed to review this any way I want!)
