Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm helps to combat visible lines around the eyes and mouth area with a powerful firming complex. Seaweed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E, plus a healing shield of Organic Silicones, protect against damage, accelerate repair, strengthen elasticity and improve smoothness.

This eye cream is a silicone-rich gel that contains a decent level of Vitamins C and A. Not enough to get rid of wrinkles but certainly enough to diffuse the look of very fine lines over time if used regularly. It’s moisturising but not overly so, great if you have normal to oily skin.

Why do I rate it? The secret’s in the silicone. This eye cream is so densely packed with silicone that it instantly smooths away lines underneath the eyes. The silicone fills in any gaps in the skin to give it a very smooth appearance, try it on just one eye and you can see the difference! I know a lot of makeup artists who carry several tubes of this stuff to smooth away lines underneath the eyes and around the mouth when working in HD film/photography.

The cream is also great at forming a protective barrier which is brilliant for things like air-travel and skiing.

Application tip: smooth the product on with your ring finger and then tap underneath your eyes to get it firmly into all the grooves, sort-of like wall putty. Be gentle!

Overall thoughts? A decent eye cream with a brilliant finish, well worth trying if you’re looking for an instant (if temporary) fix.
