I’ll speed review this new men’s line from Lush because, to be honest, it’s on my desk and the smell’s making me feel a bit sick. Don’t let that put you off though, there’s something here that I quite like!
Dirty was a classic range in B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful for its crisp and fresh spearmint notes, clean burst of salt air and herbal fragrance. Simon scented each product with a different accord of the finished Dirty perfume. Layer the products and build the perfume back up again! Try it on your skin and you won’t be sorry.
Body Spray – This stuff reeks. I sprayed it once in the office and was met with a chorus of ‘what the hell is that smell?!’. We had to air out the office for an hour and it was a cold day. It smells cheap, strong, herbal and just… not nice. Avoid.
Styling Cream – Smells the same as the body spray, except stronger and it’s on your head. The actual product’s quite moisturising and shiny which might be nice if you have lots of long hair. Left my short hair looking oily and smelling gross though.
Shaving Cream – This doesn’t smell bad, just a bit herb-y. The cream itself is thick and very moisturising which means you have to rinse your blade quite often or it’ll get all clogged up. On the plus side, it delivers a comfy shave and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and moisturised. Might be worth looking in to if you have sensitive, dry skin.
Toothy Tabs – Amazing! Toothy Tabs are little tabs of solid toothpaste – just crush one between your teeth, brush with a damp brush and rinse. Brilliant for travel.
All in all, a bit disappointing apart from the Toothy Tabs which i’ve since repurchased for travel. Highly recommend smelling things from Lush before purchasing…
