The Trouble with Pore-Strips…
There’s nothing more satisfying than ripping a pore strip off your nose and seeing a gross field of blackheads. My brand of choice is Biore…
However, before you use pore strips – there are a few things to bear in mind:
- Pore Strips are quite harsh on the delicate skin around your nose. If you’re prone to broken capillaries (especially around the nose) – the stress of using pore strips can create more breakage. I would avoid using them and see a professional once a month to extract your blackheads instead.
- Use pore strips after showering, the skin’s softer and blackheads will pop out a lot easier.
- Peel very slowly, never rip off the strip or you’ll damage your skin.
- Once you’re done with the strip, swipe your nose with a little astringent and apply a light moisturiser.
- If you like to use pore strips, limit usage to no more than one a week to give your skin time to heal.
Are you a fan of pore strips?

Review - The Organic Pharmacy Shaving Cream
I tried pore strips a few years ago, but they were painful to remove and I never saw the fields of blackheads that commercials promised. Perhaps it’s time to give them another go?
i like biore as well, but not british, but japanese, usually in black because it;s more fun this way. and it works out cheaper as well as i buy from asian site anyway
