Review: Ole Henriksen Blemish Attack Mask

Right, i’ve got the flu and i’m feeling pretty sorry for myself so here’s a speedy review of a brill product!

Ole Henriksen Blemish Attack Purifying Mask minimises breakouts and reduces excess surface oil with calming botanicals. Suitable for oily to blemish-prone skin and this reparative anti-inflammatory mask is paraben-free.

Featuring salicylic acid, zinc and copper, Ole Henriksen Blemish Attack Purifying Mask helps promote clear and healthy skin by combining purifying clays to help absorb impurities, minimising breakouts and reducing excess surface oil with calming botanicals.

This face mask is packed full of all the ingredients needed to soothe and clear agitated, blemish-prone skin. I have to give it to whoever formulated this one – it’s great. Pop a nice layer of this all over your face and rinse after 15 to 20 minutes. The result? Blemishes are calmed (aloe and salicylic acid), pores are clean (clay), irritated/broken skin looks healthier and less red (zinc and copper) and your face just looks generally bright, matte & healthy!

Who should use it? Anyone with acne, irritated skin or even rosacea should give this face mask a shot.

The only negative is that it’s so jam-packed full of ingredients that it may sting a little on application if you have sensitive skin. It stings a bit on my skin for the first few seconds, then it’s gone and after 20 minutes my skin looks great. Maybe avoid if you have particularly dry skin (or at least slap on a good moisturiser afterwards!).

All in all, a great face mask. Recommended!
