MenScience Post Shave Repair

Ditch the aftershave, SCforM favourite MenScience has you covered with their Post-Shave Repair.

Unique fine-mist spray immediately cools and helps soothe the skin, while combating razor burn and clogged pores with professional ingredients like salicylic acid, tea tree extract, azulene and allantoin. 100% free of alcohol and oils, the hydrating formula evaporates immediately and leaves skin feeling soft and conditioned.

I’ve been spraying this stuff on my face after every shave for months now, it’s awesome. The fact that it’s a spray scores major points from the get-go, I hate messing around with bits of cotton. The product itself contains a nice blend of calming ingredients like camphor, aloe and allantoin with mild levels of astringents, exfoliants and antibacterials like tea tree, witch hazel and salicylic acid.

What does that mean for you? The MenScience Post-Shave Repair is brilliant at calming skin post-shave and the antiseptic, astringents and exfoiliants keep your skin ingrown-free. In fact, with sustained use, you might notice that your skin becomes a little more clear and blemish free in general.

How to use it? Spray a bit of this on freshly shaved skin (it doesn’t sting!) and massage it in. Once you’re done, carry on and apply your regular skincare.

I couldn’t live without this on shaving days, perfect for lazy guys who like the idea of a quick spritz to keep skin clear and happy. Oh and it’s alcohol-free so it won’t dry your skin out – try it!

Sounds like a great product. I especially like the fact that it's a spray. This makes it easier to use with less mess. The fact that it contains no alcohol is a plus for anyone with dry or sensitive skin. I'll definitely look into trying this product from MenScience.

It's usually recommended to avoid using sprays, especially around/on the face area since you might inhale some of their content and on a long term use - it might be toxic/cancerous. So, besides fragrances, I don't use any kind of spray. If you still want to keep using this product, I suggest you just spray it on a cotton pad (even if you don't like it :) ).

Thanks for the tip Daniel! However from what i've read I don't think there's any danger using this product or any other sprays - especially since it doesn't contain any propellants, just a mechanical pump!

It is a great product, actually the whole range is really well made so am impressed with MenScience. I get mine from Fresh, they're an online store that offer free delivery to my work so can't complain!
