A few weeks ago I popped into the Carter and Bond Barber & Shop for a hot towel wet shave and the experience was amazing! Not your usual barber shop, that’s for sure…

Our Barber & Shop is home to some of our favourite brands including Baxter of California, Proraso, Agua de Colonia and Marvis toothpaste. We also offer traditional gents hairdressing and what we believe to be the finest hot towel wet shave in London. Throw in a mixture of quirky and fun items for sale such as retro tin robots, Commando comic books, Triwa watches, handsome bi-planes, vintage pin-ups and cool cufflinks, and you have the unique and relaxed old school meets quirky West London emporium for men that is the CARTER and BOND Barber & Shop.

Carter and Bond goes above and beyond traditional barber shops; the atmosphere is relaxed, fun and features an ecclectic mix of the best grooming products, barber services, vintage toys, watches, prints and comics. It’s the perfect place for a big kid like me and I happily spent time browsing every nook and cranny of the shop long after my treatment. There’s no other word for it, Carter and Bond is just cool.

As for the shave itself? Impeccable. It was relaxing (almsot fell asleep!) and I came out looking fresh faced and with the closest, most comfortable shave i’ve had in ages. It also helps that they stock all my favourite brands…
