A new favourite! Fresh Cannabis Santal is pretty much everything I look for in a winter scent and it’s pretty unique in my collection.

This classic scent for men is a sensual, masculine blend of rich fruits like kumquat and dark plum mingled with patchouli, magnolia, chocolate, vetiver, and vanilla musk. It’s a memorable scent that leaves a lasting impression.

So, firstly, despite the name you’re not going to be walking around smelling like your first year of university.

It’s quite a heavy scent at first which smells slightly rich and musky – now i’d usually hate that but it’s nicely balanced by a sweet, fruity scent (the kumquat and dark plum). The combination creates a very unique scent; it smells rich, expensive and musky and yet still fresh and youthful. This certainly isn’t your generic men’s perfume. It’s just an inspired combination of sweet and woody/oritental – and not a citrus note in sight which is unknown territory for me! Honestly, loathe as I am to say it, it’s a really sensual scent and I can’t stop sniffing my wrist when I have it on.

I’ve had this for about week now and i’ve had loads of strangers on the way to work asking what i’m wearing. The bottle is tiny but the lasting power is fantastic, two or three spritzes in the morning and you’re set for the entire day.

Despite being a men’s fragrance, it’s become a cult favourite amongst women too. Or at least, women who prefer slightly masculine scents. I highly recommend taking the time to hunt this down at Sephora and take a sniff, it’s my favourite fragrance of the year so far. Girls love it, guys love it and it’s SCforM recommended!
