Quick tip today. I’m often asked the order in which you should apply your skincare products and so I thought it’d be a good idea to have a post to refer people to.
It’s really easy: Apply your products in order from thinnest texture to thickest.
This is so that the thinner products don’t have to fight through thicker ones in order to make it to your skin. Watery toners go first, then serums, then your runny lotions and then thick creams if you use them.
The only exceptions to this rule would be sunscreen (which, despite texture, should always be applied last) and mattifying primers (which should be applied after all of your skincare, including sunscreen).
Easy enough, right?
