What a great way to advertise hair products! It’s clear, simple to grasp and there’s no meaningless verbage to wade through. Marketers of grooming products take note.
This is the Gatsby hair wax line from hugely popular Japanese male grooming brand Mandom. Nearly every hair-conscious Japanese guy owns at least one tub of this stuff, and more and more guys outside of Japan are beginning to sing it’s praises.
My question is; which of these would you like to see reviewed on SCforM? Choose 3, i’m not made of money y’know!

I have used the Grunge Matte version for long periods in the past but found the strength a bit too weak for my straight, coarse and thick Asian hair. I ended up using way too much product and it wasn't economical. Gatsby does have a cheaper range of hair waxes that is similar to the Moving Rubber range but is cheaper and has better hold strength but less matte.
My OH would like to see some eye creams reviewed…e.g. for baggy 40 year old eyes!

The BF uses UNO by shiseido not sure why but he always stocks up when we go to Tokyo.
I'd like to see the Grunge Mat and Air Rise reviewed.
I've got all of them…overall my top 3 are Spikey edge, Air Rise and Wild Shake. Wild shake is the #1 its like perfect mix of Air Rise and Spikey edge.
Cool wet is nice for adding shine and defining spikes, but for a wet look its not so great… Mostly cause 1 its very uneconomical as you need to use a ton of product to achieve a wet look and 2 it just weighs down the hair and makes it greasy.
If your new to Gatsby, I recommend Wild Shake, Air Rise and Spikey Edge. But if your as much of a hair-adicct as I am I will say the Shiseido's UNO line of Pomades and waxes is a much better product. I only own 2 at the moment cause just like Gatsby it really isn't cheap, especially since the cost of shipping is a big expense aside from the actual product itself.
hahahaha. Whenever i see gatsby, i just have to laugh. My brother decided to go all out in hong kong and bought a lifetime supply. By that i mean 21 pots of gatsby…Yeah.
