Review – L’oreal Solar Expertise Sun Protection.
Now that it’s summer i’m receiving lots of emails regarding the best sunscreens that provide both good protection for the skin and a nice matte finish. One of the newer ones I’ve come across this summer is the L’oreal Solar Expertise ‘Anti-Brown Spot and Wrinkle Matte Fluid Protection’. This stuff is fantastic, it’s nice and runny rather than sticky and thick like most sunscreens which makes it a breeze to apply. Add to that the nice matte finish and the sun protection (which is through the roof with an SPF of 50 and a PPD of 20) and you have one excellent sunblock for the summer.
This should keep your face nicely matte for the summer and well protected so don’t expect much of a tan on your face if you’re using this! One downside is the terrible white-cast left by this sunscreen on tanned skin but it seems to dissapate within 10 to 20 minutes so apply in advance of leaving the house.
This sunscreen retails in Europe-only (and possibly Australia) and should be available in your local chemist or cosmetics retailer.
