After mentioning this specific serum a couple of times I’ve recieved a few emails asking about it so I decided to put together a brief review of this great product. I was sent this serum by a friend in the states (to my knowledge Avalon doesn’t retail outside of the US right now) and I was surprised by how well it works! This contains a good amount of Magnesium Ascorbal Phosphate which is a stable form of Vitamin C so you don’t have to worry about this turning brown and inactive very quickly. In addition to the decent levels of Vitamin C you’ll also find a whole host of other potent antioxidants in it such as Vitamin E, Green Tea and White Tea. It’s also Organic if that’s of any importance to you.

This is an excellent first-purchase Vitamin C serum as it contains very good levels of antioxidants at an affordable price; what’s better is that the ingredients are stable to they will actually benefit the skin when applied. Use this all over the face in the morning (and night if you want to, although you can switch products as I do) every day in order to gain its full effects. This product comes scented with oils so i’d be careful with this if you have particularly sensitive skin but for my normal/combo skin this worked a charm. Within a few weeks of using this my skin looked brighter and generally more healthy.

So, again, this is an excellent Vitamin C serum for anyone to start off with so I would definately recommend you buying something like this as your first before trading up to more potent concentrations if and when you need them.
